Doppler in goats

It is the calculation of the blood in the blood vessels. Which is done with the help of an ultrasound scanner, which with the high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) reflects the color image between yellow, red, blue and gray. Of which we will keep in mind the blues, reds, and yellows that are the ones that indicate the amount of irrigation. (MayoClinic, 2019).

In the goats the search is carried out by a trans-rectal ultrasound, which has the following steps:

1. Cleaning of the rectal tract.

2. Lubrication of the transducer.

3. Search for reference structures (urinary bladder).

4. Search for the organs to check (ovaries).

5. Change for Doppler application on the ultrasound scanner.

6. Visualization and identification of snaguinea irrigation.

7. Removing the transducer and cleaning it.
